Our shop is at Plot No. 5008. We do packaging, specifically for the agricultural side of things. Around here, there’s always something being grown or harvested, so there’s always a need for bags and boxes. We have these big rolls of material that we cut and seal. The machines are a bit old, but they work fine if you treat them right. We spend a lot of time making sure the seals are tight. You don't want seeds or fertilizer leaking out of a bag during transport. The warehouse is usually full of stacked pallets. It can get a bit cramped in there during the peak season. We have a few guys who handle all the heavy lifting. The office is just a small room in the corner with a desk and a computer that’s a few years old. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait around for it to come back on. We use that time to talk or check the stock. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important for the farmers. We’ve been at 5008 for a long time. People around here know where to find us. We don’t do much advertising. Word of mouth usually brings in enough work to keep us busy. We just try to get the orders right and out on time. It’s a straightforward business. No frills, just packing.
