Our place is over on Tank Bund Road in Nungambakkam. It’s got two numbers, the new one is 11 and the old one is 22, which sometimes confuses the delivery guys. We deal with plastics and polymers. It’s a messy business sometimes, with all the raw materials coming in. The street is usually pretty quiet except when the trucks show up. We’ve been at this spot for a good number of years. It’s an old building, nothing like those glass offices you see nowadays. Inside, it smells a bit like plastic, but you get used to it after ten minutes. We have a small crew working the machines and handling the paperwork. It’s not a huge factory, just a decent-sized unit where we get things done. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the caps and containers we make. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. Nungambakkam is a good area to be in, even if the traffic on Tank Bund Road gets annoying during rush hour. We just keep our heads down and focus on the production schedule. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work right and stay busy. If you drop by, you'll probably see us covered in dust or moving crates around. We've been here since the old days.
