Active Impex

Up on the 3rd floor at No. 26 / 40 Perumal Mudali Street, you will find Active Impex. We are located in Kondithope, which is always humming with activity. Being on the third floor means we do a lot of climbing up and down the stairs throughout the day. We handle import and export tasks for various goods. It's mostly paperwork and coordinating with the docks or the trucks. The office is a bit cramped with files and samples everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don’t really have a showroom since most of our work is done over the phone or by email. It’s a practical workspace for a small team. Kondithope is a busy trading hub, and we’ve been part of it for several years now. We don't bother with corporate jargon or long meetings. We just get the shipments cleared and move on to the next one. Sometimes the weather makes things slow down, or there’s a delay at the port, but we deal with it as it comes. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We like being in this part of the city where everything is always moving. The building is a bit old, so the stairs can be a workout, but it keeps us fit. Perumal Mudali Street is one of those places where there’s always a truck unloading somewhere, making the traffic a bit of a mess. We just plan our day around it. Active Impex isn't a big name you’ll see in the newspapers. We just do our work quietly and keep our clients happy. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and tea. It's how we stay awake.
