Haria Extrusion

We do extrusion work here, which basically means we spend our days around some pretty large machines that push metal through dies. It’s a hot job, especially when the furnaces are running at full tilt. Haria Extrusion has been in this spot for quite some time now. The building is a bit older, with some patches on the roof, but it serves our purpose well enough. We have a routine where we start early in the morning before the Jamnagar sun gets too intense. There is always a lot of clanging and banging going on, so we usually have to shout to be heard over the noise. It’s a busy atmosphere with people moving rods and tubes around the floor. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the metal comes out the right shape and size. Most of the work is done by hand or by manually operating the levers on the machines. It’s tough work and your hands get dirty within the first five minutes of the shift. But it’s what we do, and we’re used to it. We just focus on the job and getting things loaded onto the trucks for the next delivery route.
