Prime Gas

Prime Gas is set up at Survey Number 1188, right on the Gayathri Sugars Premises. Being in Adloor Yella Reddy means we are a bit out of the way, but it works for what we do. The main thing you notice here are the cylinders and the heavy smell of the sugar factory next door. It’s a bit of an older site, but it serves its purpose for storing and moving gas. We have trucks coming in from early in the morning, and the loaders have a lot of work to do moving the heavy metal tanks around. It gets quite hot in this part of the country, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the sun gets too high. There is a small office where we keep the logs and the delivery schedules, but mostly we are outside on the concrete. The ground is a bit cracked and the paint on the walls is peeling in places, but the equipment is what matters. We deal with a lot of local drivers and workers who stop by. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t really do much else besides making sure the gas gets where it needs to go. The routine is the same every day, from the time we open the gates until we lock up and go home to the village.
