Teja Earth Movers

Down in Muthampet, specifically in the Sc Colony area, you’ll find us at Teja Earth Movers. Our place is at H. No 4-120/1. It’s mostly a lot of heavy machinery and grease. Dealing with earth-moving equipment means things are always a bit dirty. We spend our days out on sites or here fixing the machines. The engines are loud, and there is usually a lot of dust in the air when we’re working. We started this because there was always a need for digging and clearing land around the Koutaal mandate. It’s hard work and the sun gets really hot out there in the fields. We don’t wear suits or sit in air-conditioned rooms. Our clothes usually have oil stains that won’t come out. We take care of the equipment ourselves as much as we can. Sometimes parts take a long time to arrive, which can be frustrating. We keep the machines parked near the house when they aren't out on a job. Most of the people around Muthampet know who to call when they need a trench dug or some land leveled. We just give them a fair price and show up with the tractor or the excavator. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big marketing plan. Word of mouth from the last job is usually how we get the next one. That’s just life in the Sc Colony for us. We keep our tools ready.
