ERTS CONSTRUCTION LLP is over in Varanasi, specifically in the Jagatganj area. Our address is C27/211 A 6, which is where we manage our construction projects from. Varanasi is such an old and busy city that doing construction here always presents a few puzzles, like narrow lanes or heavy traffic. We are a limited liability partnership, so it is just a small group of us running the show. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the actual building work. The office in Jagatganj is where we keep our maps and our schedules. It’s a bit of a lived-in space, nothing too formal. We usually start the day early to beat the worst of the Varanasi crowds. Most of our time is spent out on the sites, checking that the concrete is poured right and the walls are straight. We have been doing this for a while and have gotten used to the way things work in this part of Uttar Pradesh. It is a lot of manual coordination and making sure the supplies don't get stuck in traffic. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work that is required. It is a practical business for us, and we keep things simple and honest. If the work is good, then that is enough for us. We just keep building, day after day, and that is our life here.
