Akanksha Overseas operates out of G1-274 in Udyog Vihar, which is in the Sukher area. Sukher is known for having a lot of these kinds of businesses, so we fit right in. We handle overseas trade, which involves a lot of back-and-forth communication with people in different countries. The office is a basic setup with some computers, a printer that jams too often, and a few chairs for when guests drop by. We aren't a huge team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One minute you might be checking a customs form and the next you’re helping load a crate. We’ve been at this location for a while. The building isn't new, but it keeps the rain out and gives us enough space for our files and samples. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Most of our connections come from years of being in the industry and knowing who to talk to. Dealing with overseas clients means our hours can be a bit strange. Sometimes we are here early to catch the end of the day in one country, or late to talk to someone on the other side of the world. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the details are right so nothing gets stuck at the port. We just try to stay organized and keep the business moving along.
