Anupam Saloon

Anupam Saloon is my little shop over at Neminath Darshan. We are located on Khadak Road in the Bhiwandi area of Thane. If you know where Bhairo Transport is, we are right near there. I have been cutting hair in this 421302 zip code for a long time. The saloon isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s just the usual chairs, mirrors, and some old magazines for people to read while they wait. Bhiwandi is a hardworking town, and my customers are mostly guys from the local transport offices and warehouses. They come in for a quick shave or a trim before they head out on the road. It gets pretty loud on Khadak Road with all the trucks passing by. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. My tools are kept sharp and clean, that's what matters most. I don't use any of those expensive gels or sprays. Just water and a good pair of scissors. Sometimes my son helps me out on the weekends when it gets crowded. We aren't trying to be fancy. It is just a place to get a haircut and talk about the day's news. I like being part of the community here in Thane. It’s been a good run so far at Neminath Darshan and I hope it keeps going.
