Orange Mobile Gallery

Down on Rander Tower Road, things get pretty busy, especially around shop number 10. Our place, Orange Mobile Gallery, sits right in the middle of all that noise. The shop has glass counters that we have to wipe down multiple times a day because of the fingerprints. People are always coming in to look at new phones or ask why their old one isn't charging right. We have a lot of plastic covers hanging on the walls in different colors. Most days, it is just us sitting behind the counter watching the crowd go by on Tower Road. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just wait for it to come back. We sell SIM cards and do recharges for the local guys who live nearby. The floor is made of simple white tiles that show every bit of dirt. We have a small fan that wobbles when it is on high speed. It’s not a quiet place. You hear the bikes and the people shouting outside all the time. We keep the boxes stacked up in the back room. It’s a bit cramped when more than three customers come in at once. We don’t have any big signs inside, just the stuff we sell. Usually, we are busy fixing screens or explaining how a camera works to someone's grandmother. It's just a regular shop in a busy part of town.
