If you are looking for us, we are on the first floor of Laxmi Paint House, right across from the Bhargava Complex. You can usually smell the paint from downstairs, which we’ve actually grown to like over time. It’s a busy part of town, and there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking from the street below. Our office is a bit cramped because we have samples and boxes tucked into every available corner. We do a lot of import and export work here, mostly focusing on getting things through customs and onto the next leg of their journey. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking and re-checking documents. We don’t have a lot of time for fancy talk; we just get on with it. The desk in the front has a bit of a wobble, but it’s been that way for years and we haven't bothered to fix it yet. We know our way around the trade business, mostly from just doing it every day and learning from the mistakes we made when we first started out. It’s not always easy, especially when there are delays at the port that we can’t control. We try to be straightforward with everyone we deal with because that’s just how we are. We drink a lot of coffee, keep the fans running high, and make sure the paperwork gets filed before we head home for the evening.
