Goswami Distributor

We are set up in Village Palashkola, which is right near the Adra post office. It is a quiet village and everyone knows everyone else around here. As Goswami Distributor, we spend most of our time unloading trucks and getting things ready to go out to the shops again. My uncle started this business a long time back and now we just keep it going as best as we can. The warehouse is a bit dusty because of the dirt roads nearby, but it stays cool inside during the summer. We do not have a fancy computer system that does everything, so we still write a lot of stuff down in big paper ledgers. It works for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. Palashkola isn't a big place, so if a delivery is late, everyone usually hears about it. We try to stay on top of the stock. The neighbors sometimes drop by for a quick chat while we are working. It gets a bit crowded when two trucks show up at the same time, especially on the narrow village road. We mostly handle local supplies that people need for their daily lives. My brother handles the accounts and I look after the loading and unloading. It is a family thing, really. We have been at this spot for many years now.
