Vithai Education Foundation

Vithai Education Foundation is located at Gat No 397 in the Vithai Warehouse. We are in the Awhalwadi area of Haveli, which is out on the edge of Pune. Being in a warehouse means we have a lot of space, but it isn't like a normal office at all. There are high ceilings and a lot of concrete. We have carved out a small section for our desks and chairs. It is a bit of a dusty environment because of all the activity around the warehouse area, but we don't mind it. We wanted a place that was practical and didn't cost too much to run. Awhalwadi is a bit quieter than the center of Pune, which helps us stay focused. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is mostly just shelves filled with books and supplies. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when trucks are loading or unloading nearby. We just work through it. Our team is small and we all know each other well. We don't have any big titles or formal ways of doing things. If something needs to be moved or organized, we all just jump in and help. It is a very hands-on way to run a foundation. We are just regular people working in a warehouse to try and make things better.
