Shrikrishna Engineering Works

Our workshop is tucked inside the Kothrud Industrial Estate, right off Karve Road. If you are looking for number 12, we are the ones with the old lathes and the smell of cutting oil in the air. We started small, just doing basic repairs and some custom parts for local shops. Nowadays, the machines run almost constantly. It is a bit cramped in here because of all the equipment and the metal shavings on the floor, but we know where everything is. The guys usually have grease on their hands by ten in the morning. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, someone just yells over the noise of the grinders when a visitor walks in. We do a lot of turning, milling, and general fabrication work. Sometimes a customer brings in a broken part that hasn't been made in twenty years, and we try to figure out how to replicate it. It takes patience. The traffic on Karve Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually start early to get a head start on the day's orders. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Pune, just a reliable one where the work gets done properly. It's loud, it's hot in the summer, but it's our livelihood. We just focus on the blueprints and the machines.
