Shri Krishna Lodge

If you are looking for us, Shri Krishna Lodge is right at 425 Somwar Peth. We are directly opposite the SBI building, which makes it easy for people to explain where they are going when they get a rickshaw. This part of the city in 411011 is always moving. The lodge itself is a simple place. We have rooms for travelers who just need a spot to sleep for a night or two. I spend a lot of time behind the desk or checking the hallways. It’s an old building, so there is always something that needs a bit of fixing or a coat of paint. My family has been around this area for a long time. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the guys at the bank across the street. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s Pune for you. People come in from the station, drop their bags, and go out to do their business. We don’t have any of those modern gadgets or fancy lobby decorations. It’s just the basics here. Sometimes the tap leaks or a lightbulb goes out, and we just fix it as we go. It’s a bit noisy with the street traffic right outside, but most guests don't seem to mind much after a long day of travel. We just try to keep things tidy and make sure the door is locked at night. The stairs are narrow but they get you where you need to go.
