Shreenath Hotel

If you find yourself in Uruli Devachi, you will probably see us. Shreenath Hotel is a simple place where we spend most of our hours. It is not a grand building with lots of stars, just a regular spot where people can come in. We start very early, often before the sun is even up, to get things ready. The stove gets lit and the first pot of tea is always how we begin the morning. Uruli Devachi is a place that feels a bit different from the main city area. It has its own pace. We see a lot of people coming through, some are regulars who live nearby and others are just passing on the road. The chairs might creak a bit and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure there is enough water for everyone. It gets quite dusty outside sometimes because of the traffic and the wind, so we are always wiping things down. There is no big management team here, just a few of us making sure everything stays running. We don’t really worry about being fancy. As long as the lights are on and there is food ready, we are satisfied. It is just what we do and it keeps us busy from morning until the late evening hours. We just hope the tea is hot enough for whoever comes in to visit.
