Sakshi Provision

Sakshi Provision is a bit different because we are on the 1st floor of a building in Bhosarigoan, specifically in the 5th Block on 9th A Main. Most shops like ours are on the ground level, so people have to walk up the stairs to find us. It’s a bit of a climb, but it keeps the shop a little cleaner since we aren't right on the dusty street. We’ve been in this space for several years. Carrying the heavy sacks of rice and sugar up those stairs is the hardest part of the job, especially when it’s hot outside. We usually do that early in the morning before it gets too crowded. The shop has a good view of the street below from the window. We can see everyone coming and going. Inside, it’s quite cozy. We have wooden shelves that we built ourselves a long time ago. They’re a bit wobbly in places, but they hold the weight. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small board near the stairs. Most of our customers are people who live in the same building or just next door. It’s a quiet atmosphere most of the time. We have a small radio that plays old songs while we work. It’s just a simple, honest business. We do our own accounts and manage the stock ourselves. It’s a steady life here in the 5th block. We might not be the easiest place to find on the first try, but once you know where we are, it's easy. It works for us.
