Auto Plasts

Down in Street No. 7 in Majlis Park, you will find our little setup at C-113. We go by Auto Plasts, and mostly we just deal with plastic components for vehicles. Azadpur is a hectic place, but our corner is usually just busy with the hum of the injection machines. It is not a big factory. We have some shelves stacked with molds and bags of raw plastic pellets everywhere. You have to watch your step or you will trip over something. My dad used to say the shop should be cleaner, but when you are running three machines at once, things get messy. We take the orders, set the molds, and wait for the parts to pop out. Sometimes a batch does not come out right and we have to start over. That is just part of the job. It is mostly family and a couple of guys from the neighborhood working here. We eat lunch together on the crates when it is not too busy. There is no big sign outside, just the address and a door that stays open to let the heat out. We do not spend much on advertising because the work keeps coming in through people we know. It is just honest work with plastic. We have been at this for years and the machines have the scratches to prove it. It is a bit cramped, but we make it work and keep the production going every day.
