We’ve been here in Sector 12 for a while now, up on the first floor of the B-11 building. It’s a pretty standard spot, nothing too fancy, but it works for what we do with procurement. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and tracking down where things are in the supply chain. You’ll see stacks of files on the desks and someone usually has a cup of tea getting cold while they deal with a vendor. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy samples or catalogs can be a bit of a workout. We don’t really have a big reception area, just some chairs and the sound of keyboards clicking away. Sector 12 gets quite busy around lunchtime, and finding a parking spot near our entrance is always a bit of a gamble. The office has big windows, but mostly you just see the other buildings across the street and the tops of some dusty trees. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the orders moving and making sure the paperwork doesn't pile up too high. We keep the lights on late sometimes when a big shipment is coming in, but usually, we’re out by six. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows which drawer the good stapler is in. We just focus on getting the sourcing done without making a big fuss about it.
