Universal Expositions Ltd. operates from room 401 in Sanskriti Park. This is in the commercial block in Andheri East, Mumbai. If you are familiar with Andheri, you know it is the heart of the commercial world here. Our office is a busy spot, especially when we are preparing for a new event or exhibition. We have posters from past events on the walls and boxes of materials waiting to be moved. It is not a very quiet place. There is always someone on the phone or typing away on a laptop. Sanskriti Park has been where we do our daily business for a long stretch. The building is decent, though the parking area can be a real headache most mornings. We don't use any marketing jargon to describe what we do. We basically just organize events and make sure everything is in the right place. It involves a lot of coordination with different vendors and workers. Our team is used to the fast pace of Mumbai life. We often stay late when a big project is coming up. There is a small canteen downstairs where we get our tea and snacks. We don't have any grand vision to talk about. We just take one project at a time and try to get it right. It is a lot of hard work and very little glamour. That is just how the exposition business is for us and we keep at it.
