Trex Logistics

If you find yourself in Malad West, you might see us across from the Toyota showroom. Trex Logistics is in the Akshardham building, unit C 102. Being on Linking Road means there is never a moment of silence. The traffic outside is constant, and you can hear the horns honking all day long. Our office is small but we pack a lot into it. We spend most of our time dealing with shipping routes and talking to drivers who are trying to navigate the Mumbai streets. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes, especially with the narrow lanes in certain parts of Malad. We have a lot of ledgers and tracking sheets spread out on the main table. People walk in and out all day, mostly delivery guys or people asking about their packages. We do not have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you. The air conditioner is our best friend in the humid months. We have been at this location for a bit, so we know the neighborhood pretty well. The tea stall on the corner is where most of our unofficial meetings happen. We just try to keep the boxes moving and the customers informed about where their stuff is. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we have got a system that works for us. It is just how we do things here in Malad.
