Tarunkumar Hamirbhai Solanki

My place is Shop No. 5 in the Satyam building on Shimpoli Road. It’s right near the Salute Hotel in Borivali West. People usually recognize the building because of the hotel nearby. I spend most of my time sitting at the desk or standing by the door watching the cars go by on Shimpoli Road. It’s a local spot and I know many of the faces that walk past. Tarunkumar Hamirbhai Solanki is just the name on the door and the bills. The shop isn’t very large, so I have to keep things organized or I won't be able to find anything. I have a small cabinet for my files and a few chairs for visitors. The light comes in through the front window in the afternoon and makes the room quite warm. I usually have to keep the door open to get some air moving. Borivali is a busy place and there’s always someone looking for something. I try to help out whoever comes in. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It’s mostly just me taking care of the daily tasks. I’ve been in this spot for a bit and I like being near the hotel because it’s easy to give directions. It’s a simple life running a shop in this neighborhood and I don't complain much about it. It keeps me busy enough and the days go by pretty fast.
