Sai Machine Tools

Sai Machine Tools is located in the Vishwanath Rupa Compound over at Reti Bunder on Reay Road. This part of the city is very industrial, with a lot of trucks and heavy lifting going on all the time. Our space is basically a big room filled with metal parts, heavy machines, and tools of all sizes. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that have been there for years. We don’t really bother with making it look pretty because that’s not what we’re about. It’s a place for hard work and heavy metal. The air is thick with the smell of grease and iron. We spend our days moving heavy crates or fixing something that’s stopped working. It can get very hot in the afternoons, especially since the high ceilings hold in the heat. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills, but even that is usually covered in a thin layer of grime. Reay Road is a tough place to work, but it’s where all the action is for this kind of stuff. We’ve got a lot of heavy inventory stacked up high, and we have to be careful when we’re moving things around. It’s a noisy, busy environment, but it’s what we are used to every single day. We just open the shutters in the morning and get to work until it is time to head home.
