Sakura Industries

Sakura Industries is located at unit 231 inside the Shanti Industrial Estate. You can find us on Dr S.N. Road in Mulund West. It is a typical Mumbai industrial location. It’s a bit cramped, very busy, and there is always some kind of noise happening. We’ve been in this specific estate for a long time. The stairs leading up are a bit steep and the hallways are quite narrow, but it has become a home for the business. We do manufacturing work here every day. The machines we use can be quite loud, so we often have to shout a bit just to be heard over the hum. We aren't a big corporation with a fancy lobby or a receptionist. It’s just a workshop where we get the actual work done. We deal with various metal and plastic parts depending on what the orders are for that week. Most of the staff lives nearby in Mulund. We start our shift early in the morning to beat the worst of the heat and humidity. Sometimes the power goes out, or there is a big delay with the delivery trucks on the road outside, but we manage to get by. It’s a local operation through and through. We don’t bother with brochures or a sales team. People usually hear about us from other shop owners in the estate. We just focus on the parts we make. If a piece isn't right, we fix it. It’s a bit dusty and noisy, but it’s our work and we stay busy.
