S L Engineering

At S L Engineering, we work out of a unit at B-228 in the Ambad MIDC. It’s an industrial area, so there’s nothing fancy about the surroundings. The workshop is filled with lathes, drills, and various pieces of metal we are working on. The floor has seen better days, and there are oil stains here and there, but it’s a place where real engineering work gets done. We aren't the type to wear ties or sit in meetings all day. Usually, we are in our work clothes, figuring out how to fix a part or finish a specific job. Ambad can get quite hot, and the tin roof of the unit doesn't help much, but we have some big fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been in this spot at B-228 for quite a while. Most of our day is spent listening to the hum of the machines and checking measurements. We don't have a marketing team or even a website. People in the MIDC know us and they just drop by when they have a project. We keep things straightforward and honest. If a job is going to take three days, we tell you three days. We just want to do our work and head home at the end of the shift. It’s a small, local operation and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the equipment in front of us.
