Rubycon Electrical & Electronic Ind.

We are up on the fifth floor, room 503, in Gundecha Chambers on Nagindas Master Road. Rubycon Electrical & Electronic Ind. is a quiet office compared to the street below. We mostly handle electrical components and electronic bits that manufacturers need for their products. The lift in Gundecha Chambers is quite old and moves slowly, so we often end up waiting in the lobby with the other tenants. Once you’re inside our room, it’s mostly just shelves and a couple of desks. We have components stored in plastic bins that are labeled with markers, and the labels are starting to fade over time. Nagindas Master Road is always packed with people heading to the station or to grab a quick bite. We can hear the traffic from five floors up, but it feels distant from our daily tasks. We spend our time answering emails and packing small boxes for delivery. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the stock is accounted for. We don't have any fancy coffee machines or lounge areas. We just have our work and a few windows that let in some afternoon sun. Sometimes we get the wrong parts delivered, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. It’s just the way things go in this business. We’ve been in this building for years and know most of the people on our floor. The floor is covered in old linoleum that has seen better days, but it does the job.
