RAWAT DEVELOPERS LLP is based in South Mumbai, specifically in the Breach Candy and Cumballa Hill area. Our office is at 208, Rajneelam, on Dr. Rajabali Patel Lane. Even though this is one of the more famous parts of Mumbai, our actual day-to-day is pretty unglamorous. It is a lot of sitting in traffic on the way to meetings and trying to find parking in these narrow old lanes. Rajneelam is a solid building, and being in the 208th unit gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding trees and rooftops. Inside, it is just us and a lot of folders. We have been working from here for a while, so we know all the local lunch spots and the quickest way to get through the crowded streets. The atmosphere in the office is usually quite casual. We don't wear ties unless we absolutely have to. Most of the talk is about land prices, building codes, and when the monsoon is going to start. It is a busy place, and the phone rings more than we’d like, but it keeps things moving. We don't have a polished corporate image. We are just a group of people who understand how property works in this city. It takes a lot of patience to get things done here, and we have plenty of that. We just show up every morning and get through the work without any extra fluff or fancy talk.
