Options Light

Options Light is located at 52 Mangaldas Road, inside the Chanadabhai Building. We are right in the middle of Lohar Chawl, which is basically the center of the world for lighting and electrical stuff in Mumbai. If you have ever walked through those lanes, you know it is a total crush of people, carts, and wires. Our shop is one of many, but we have been in this building for a long time. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside, with lights hanging from the ceiling and boxes stacked in every corner. We do not have much room for a fancy display, so you just have to ask us what you are looking for. The building itself is old and has that specific Lohar Chawl feel to it. It is hot and noisy, but it is where we belong. We spend our days talking to electricians, contractors, and regular folks who just need a bulb or a fixture. We do not do the corporate talk here. It is mostly just haggling and finding the right item in the back of the shop. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is so much going on around us. We are not trying to be the biggest shop on the street. We just want to keep our doors open and keep serving the people who come to Mangaldas Road. It is a tough environment, but it is home for us. We are just a small part of this big market.
