About Narendra Kumar Ajmera – Business Consulting in Mumbai
I work out of 4-C in the Podar Shopping Centre in Kandivali West. It’s a small shop unit, but it’s enough for what I need to do. The shopping center has been around for a long time, and you can tell by the floors and the way the walls look. My space is pretty basic—a desk, a few chairs for people to sit on, and some cabinets for my files. Kandivali West is a busy area, so there’s always a lot of foot traffic outside the door, especially on weekends. I usually get in around ten in the morning and stay until late in the evening. It’s mostly just me here, though sometimes I have someone help out with the chores. The lighting in the center isn't the brightest, so I have a couple of extra lamps on my desk so I can see what I’m reading. People stop by to chat or ask about things, and I try to help them out however I can. It’s not a high-pressure environment. I have my tea brought in from the stall downstairs twice a day, and that’s a bit of a ritual for me. The shop is filled with various papers and books that have piled up over time. It’s my little corner of the world, and I’ve grown very used to the rhythm of the Podar Shopping Centre. It’s just a standard small business setup where I handle my daily affairs.
