Mehboob Engineering

You can find us over at Shree Nagar in the Salim Compound. Our workshop is on Plot No.B-2, right on Kherani Road in Sakinaka. It’s quite near the Rubina Estate if you are looking for a landmark. This part of Mumbai is always loud and crowded, with a lot of small engineering shops squeezed together. We do a lot of metal work and mechanical repairs right here in the compound. It’s not a clean or quiet job. There are sparks flying, the smell of grease, and the sound of hammers hitting metal most of the day. We don’t have a big office with air conditioning. We just have our tools and our skills. Most of the guys who work here have been doing this for a long time, so they know exactly how to fix things that seem broken beyond repair. We take on whatever work comes through the door, whether it’s a small part that needs welding or a bigger machine that needs overhauling. The road outside is always blocked with rickshaws and delivery vans, which makes getting materials in and out a bit of a challenge. But that is just Sakinaka for you. We don’t put on any acts. We are just hard-working people who know engineering and want to do a fair day’s work for a fair price. It’s a simple life, even with all the noise and the dirt that comes with the job.
