Inside our unit, things are pretty straightforward. We have a few desks and some cupboards for our things. It is not a polished corporate environment. We have some tea stains on the tables and some old calendars on the walls. It feels like a real workplace where people actually spend their time. We don't really have a lobby or a dedicated person to answer the phones. Usually, whoever is closest to the door will just get up and open it. The Mhada complex is quite large, so it took us a little while to get settled when we first moved in. Now we know all the security guards at the gate and the best places to grab a quick lunch nearby. It is just a simple, honest space where we get our work done without any extra fuss or worry about appearances.
