Kottwool International

Our office is situated at B-34 in Greater Kailash - 1. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our business set up here. Kottwool International is the name we use for our work. The building is older and has a bit of character to it. Inside, it's mostly stacks of fabric samples and ledgers. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling filled with different materials. The windows look out onto the street, and we see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every day. It’s a quiet change from the more industrial parts of the city. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down orders in our notebooks. There isn't a lot of extra space, so we have to be organized, though sometimes the piles of wool and cotton get a bit out of hand. We make our own tea and usually have some biscuits around for visitors. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, not like those high-pressure offices you see in movies. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the landlord is a decent person. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. It’s a steady life here in GK-1, and we’re happy to have a roof over our heads.
