Express Driver Service

Express Driver Service operates out of an office on the 1st Floor at 50, Old Canara Bank building in Bandra West. We are right opposite the Ruff Showroom, which is a good landmark because the building itself is a bit nondescript. The stairs are stone and a bit steep, leading up to a hallway that’s seen better days. Inside, it’s mostly just phones and benches. Drivers come in and out all day, waiting for their next assignment or dropping off keys. There’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere and the sound of guys talking about the traffic on the Western Express Highway. We have a big whiteboard where we keep track of who is where, though half the time the markers are running dry. Bandra is a hectic place to be based, but it’s central for what we do. The office has that old-school feel—mismatched chairs and a clock on the wall that’s always five minutes fast. We don't spend much on decor because we’re mostly focused on the coordination. It’s a bit of a revolving door here with people coming and going at all hours. Sometimes it gets loud when everyone is back at once, but usually, it’s just the hum of the city coming through the open windows. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors in the building all know us.
