Avion Precision Works

Our place, Avion Precision Works, is over in Mulund West. We are in the Jamunadas Industrial Estate, specifically Unit Number 23. It’s right near Jwahar Takis, so it’s not too hard to find if you know the landmark. The estate is always buzzing with the sound of machines and people working. Our unit isn't huge, but we have enough room for our equipment and a small area to sit down. We spend most of our hours focused on the work at hand. It’s often dusty and loud, which is just part of being in an industrial area like this. We’ve been here for a while, and we know most of the neighbors in the other units. We usually start the machines early in the morning and keep going until the job is done. There is a lot of measuring and checking involved in what we do. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a polished showroom. It’s a working shop through and through. We have grease on our hands most days and some of the floor is stained, but that’s fine with us. We handle the jobs as they come in. Sometimes we’re working late to finish something up. We don't have a big office staff; we just handle the paperwork ourselves on a small desk tucked in the corner. It’s just a regular local workshop where we put in a full day's labor and then head home for the evening.
