We’re located at 38, Ashok Industrial Estate on L.B.S. Marg in Mulund West. Art & Beyond is the name we use, but mostly we’re just the people in unit thirty-eight. Being in an industrial estate means it’s not the prettiest place, but it’s practical for what we do. There’s always the sound of trucks and other businesses working nearby. We handle a variety of creative tasks here. It’s not always art in the way people think; sometimes it's just heavy labor and getting things to fit together. Our space is filled with tools and materials that we’ve collected over the years. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you come to see us, you’re going to see the actual work happening. We aren't corporate types in suits. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty. Sometimes projects take longer than we thought they would, but we don't rush just to get them out the door. We’ve been in Mulund for a long time and know the area well. It’s a good spot for us because we can get the supplies we need without too much trouble. We just keep our heads down and do what we do. It’s a simple way of living and working that suits us just fine. We don't have a lot of meetings or big plans, we just focus on whatever project is currently on the table and try to get it done properly.
