Arirang Electronics

Arirang Electronics is tucked into unit 27-J in the Laxmi Industrial Estate in Andheri West. This estate is a massive place with narrow lanes that are always blocked by trucks loading and unloading stuff. It can be a real headache to navigate if you aren't used to it. Our unit is packed with electronic components, testing rigs, and boxes waiting to be shipped out. There is always a faint sound of fans running to keep the equipment from overheating. We have a couple of long tables where the assembly work happens, and everyone usually has their own little pile of parts they are working on. The walls are lined with plastic bins full of resistors, capacitors, and things like that. We don't have a fancy showroom; we are much more of a workshop. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when we have a big order to get out, and the whole floor is covered in bubble wrap and tape. We drink a lot of chai to keep going during the long afternoons. Andheri West is a busy area, and there is always something going on just outside our door. We just try to stay organized in the middle of all the chaos and make sure every board we test is working properly before it leaves the estate. It’s hard work, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
