Krish Clinic

Krish Clinic is a small place located in Chhaprauli. It is a simple setup that serves the local people who live and work in this area. We don't have a huge staff or a massive building just a few rooms where we see the patients who come in with various ailments. Most days are pretty much the same with people walking in from the village or the surrounding farms because they have a fever or a minor injury. We have a small waiting area with some wooden benches and a table with some old health pamphlets on it. The door stays open most of the day to let in the breeze although it brings in some dust from the road outside. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else and we often spend time catching up on the local news while we do the checkups. There is a thermometer and a blood pressure cuff on the desk and that gets used more than anything else. We don't have fancy computers so most things are still written down by hand in the books. It is a very basic clinic but it is important for the folks in Chhaprauli who don't want to travel far for a doctor. We just keep the lights on and help whoever shows up at the door when they are feeling poorly.
