Dhoom Textiles Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Sf. No. 281/3 in Karumarampalayam. We are located along Uttukuli Road, which falls under the Mannarai Post area. This part of the region is known for textiles, and we are just one of the many places working with fabric every day. Our building is a large shed where we keep the machinery running. It gets pretty loud when everything is going at once, so we usually have to shout to be heard over the noise. We have been here at this spot for quite a few years now. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it tricky for the lorries to get in and out. But we just keep going. We have a group of dedicated workers who know how to handle the looms and the finishing work. We don't have a fancy showroom to show off. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or suppliers bringing in raw materials. We spend our days checking the cloth and making sure the machines are oiled properly. It is hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. Karumarampalayam is a busy place for textiles, and we are glad to be a part of it. When the day is done, we lock up the gate and head home. It is a straightforward way of life and it keeps us busy throughout the whole year.
