Zarin Garments

We are located at the Prince Complex in Hazratganj. Our shop is on the ground floor, unit B-67. Being in Hazratganj means there are always crowds of people walking by outside. It is one of those parts of Lucknow where something is always happening, for better or worse. We deal with garments here. Usually, the shop is filled with piles of fabric and half-finished clothes waiting to be picked up by customers. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. My family started this business a long time ago and we have just kept it running ever since. We have a few tailors who work in the small room in the back. You can hear the hum of the machines all through the day. We do a lot of local orders, but sometimes people from other cities find us too. The shop is quite small, so it gets very hot in the summer even with the big ceiling fans going. We do not have any fancy lights or glass displays. We just put the clothes out on the tables and let people look through them. It is an honest living. Sometimes we sit on stools outside the door and chat with the other shopkeepers. It is a nice little community we have here in the complex. We just keep things simple and try to do right by people.
