Our office is over at 22, East Topsia Road, specifically in Suite No. 9B of the Tirumala 22 building. It’s an interesting part of Kolkata, always busy with something going on. Ratan Projects & Engineering CO.Pvt.Ltd. has its base here, and it’s where we do all our planning and paperwork. The building itself is okay, nothing too special, but it gets the job done. From our window, you can see the city moving along. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking over project blueprints. Engineering work can be tedious, with a lot of little details that you can't afford to miss. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when we have all the files out, but we manage. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. We are a smaller team, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. There’s always a stack of papers on someone’s desk and the sound of a printer going in the corner. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way during a busy week. Traffic on East Topsia Road is usually a mess, so we’ve learned to be early or just stay late to avoid it. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a good job on the projects we take on. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just an engineering company in a busy part of town, doing our daily tasks and moving on to the next one.
