Ashok Baid

Ashok Baid is located at 2 Portuguese Church Street. It’s one of those old streets that has a lot of history to it. We’ve been at this address for quite a long time. The building itself shows its age, but it’s solid and it’s where we feel at home. Walking down Portuguese Church Street, you see a lot of different shops and offices crammed together. It’s a tight area, and parking can be a real headache, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a small group of us handling things. We don't spend money on big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our visitors are people who have known us for years or were told about us by a neighbor. It’s a quiet kind of business. We come in, do our work, and head home. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel, with papers stacked up and old wooden chairs. It’s not the most modern setup, but it works for what we do. We like being on this street because it feels connected to the rest of the city. There’s a certain rhythm to the day here that we’ve all grown used to. We just focus on being reliable and staying put right here at number two. There isn't much more to it than that. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way each day.
