Kartik Interational

Our place, Kartik Interational, is out in Village Alaur, right on the G. T. Road. Being on the main highway means there is a constant stream of traffic passing by at all hours. You can hear the big trucks rumbling as they head toward the city. The village itself is a bit quieter once you step away from the road. We have a decent sized yard where we can load things up without too much trouble. The office is a simple brick building that stays surprisingly cool in the summer heat. We started here because the location made sense for moving goods quickly. Most of our days are spent on the phone or checking the cargo that comes in. There is a small tea shop just down the road where we usually go for a break in the morning. The dust from the G. T. Road settles on everything, so we are always wiping down the desks. It is a straightforward way of living and working. We don't have fancy decorations or a lobby. People just walk in through the main door and we get to talking about whatever needs to be done. The village life is slow but the road outside is fast, and we are stuck right in the middle of both. It suits us just fine for the work we do. We just keep our heads down and make sure everything is sorted by the evening.
