Vijaya Marbles

Vijaya Marbles is found in the Shekhawati Complex on Station Road. Being on Station Road means we are right in the middle of all the noise and activity that comes with being near the tracks. Our office is in suite 201. It is a solid building, but you can still feel the vibration of the heavier vehicles going by. We deal with marble slabs and stones, so our office is usually full of small samples and offcuts. Marble is a beautiful thing, but it is also a lot of work to manage and sell. We spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure the quality of the stone is what we expected. The office has a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't have any fancy displays or digital screens. We just show people the actual stone or photos of the blocks we have available. The air inside the complex can get a bit stuffy, so we keep the door open to get a breeze. There are always people coming in and out of the other offices in the building, so it never feels lonely. We have a routine of opening up, checking the orders for the day, and making sure the logistics for the heavy transport are sorted out. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it anything more than what it is.
