Hakim Umer Khan

My name is Hakim Umer Khan and I work out of this place on Tonk Road, right opposite Sangh Farm. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic. I have been here for many years now. People know where to find me. It is a simple shop, nothing fancy at all. I have my bottles and my books. People come in with all sorts of problems and I do what I can to help them out using the old methods. There is no receptionist or anything, just me. If I am busy with someone, the next person just waits on the bench outside or inside if there is space. It gets hot in the afternoons because of the sun hitting the front of the building. We have a fan but it doesn't do much when it's really warm. Most of the people who come here are from the nearby farms or people traveling along Tonk Road. I know most of the regulars. We don't use any computers here. Everything is done by hand. It's a bit old-fashioned but that's how I like to run things. It is just a small place by the road where I spend my days. I've seen the road change a lot over time, but my shop stays the same. I just sit here and wait for the next person.
