I usually get to the shop around ten in the morning if the traffic in Malviya Nagar isn't too bad. 124-A is just a regular spot in the Jagatpura area. It’s been here for some time now. We have shelves filled with different crystal pieces and some other small things people like to look at. Sometimes it’s quiet, and I just sit there dusting the glass cases or rearranging the boxes that come in. The neighbors are good people, and we often share tea when things are slow. It isn’t a huge showroom or anything like that, just a local place where we try to keep things organized. I find that people usually stumble in while they are out running other errands in the neighborhood. The light hits the front window in a certain way in the afternoon, making everything look a bit different. I spend most of my day here, talking to the occasional visitor or checking the inventory lists. It’s mostly just me or one other person helping out. We don’t have any big signs or fancy displays, just what you see on the shelves. Most of the stuff we have is just picked because it looked interesting at the time. Jagatpura is growing fast, but this corner feels pretty much the same as it did a few years ago. It’s a bit dusty because of the road work nearby, but that’s just how it is around here.
