Milan Soft Drinks

Milan Soft Drinks is based in the Nehru Nagar area, which is part of the Karwar district. Since we are so close to the coast, it gets very humid and sticky here, and that definitely affects how we work every day. We have quite a bit of cooling equipment just to keep the products at the right temperature before they go out. The facility itself is very simple and functional. We have a loading dock in the front that's always a bit crowded with plastic crates and wooden pallets. We spend a lot of our time just checking the inventory levels. It's just a few of us running the whole show here. We aren't some multinational brand with a huge advertising budget. We just make soft drinks for the regular people who live around here. The flavors we have are the basic ones that people in this district have always liked. We don't try to get too fancy with the labels or the packaging either. It’s mostly just about getting the bottles filled correctly and delivered on time. Sometimes the heavy monsoon rain makes it really hard to get the delivery trucks out of the yard, but we always manage somehow. The office is just an old wooden desk tucked into a corner of the main warehouse. We use a noisy metal fan to keep the heat down and the flies away. It’s a basic life, but we like the work. We know almost all the shopkeepers who buy their stock from us.
