We are located at No. 26C in the Industrial Area Nit. It’s exactly what you’d expect from this part of town. Lots of grey buildings and the sound of machinery from the neighbors. Our workshop is one of the older ones on the block. The big metal door creaks when you slide it open in the morning. Inside, it smells like oil and cold metal. We’ve got benches lined up along the walls where we spend most of our hours. It’s not a place for suits or clean shoes. Most of us have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. We take our breaks sitting on the loading dock out back. The sun hits that spot just right in the winter. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of the folks who come here have been coming for years because they know where we are. We keep the floor swept, but the dust always finds its way back in. There’s a radio playing in the background most days, usually just some local station. It’s steady work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just trying to keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door on time. There is a stray dog that hangs out by the gate and we give him scraps from our lunch sometimes. He has become part of the place.
