SUNLIT ELECTRO CONTROLS (P) LTD is tucked away in the Eltech Industrial Area Pancode, and it is the kind of place you might drive right past if you are not looking closely for the sign. The morning routine here usually involves a lot of keys rattling and the heavy gate sliding open with a bit of a screech. It is often quite dusty because of all the trucks moving around the industrial area, so the first thing anyone does is wipe down their desk. There is a small tea stall just down the road where most of the guys go during the mid-morning break. You can hear the hum of the machines from the street, mixed with the sound of local birds and the occasional horn from a delivery van. Inside, the walls are a pale color that has faded over the years, and there are stacks of papers on every flat surface. We do not have any fancy furniture or a big reception desk. It is mostly just people in work clothes moving from one room to another, trying to stay cool when the sun gets high over Pancode. By the time the afternoon heat settles in, the fans are all spinning at full speed. It is not the most glamorous spot to spend a day, but it is where the work gets done. When five o'clock rolls around, the place slowly empties out and the gate gets locked back up until tomorrow.
