Maina Exports

Maina Exports is tucked away at No. 46/3 in Komali Thottam. It is part of the Kannampalayam area in Sulur. If you are driving out this way, you’ll notice it is a bit quieter than the center of town. Our office is basically a functional space surrounded by some greenery which makes it feel less like a typical business spot. We have been working out of this Thottam for quite some time now. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. The building itself is sturdy and does the job for what we need. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and charts to keep track of the dates. Sometimes the power goes out in Sulur and we have to sit and wait or work by the window light. It is just a regular local business where we know the people living nearby. We spend a lot of time in the back room where the inventory is kept, making sure everything is packed right. It is a lot of manual work and staying on top of the schedule. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a little bit of everything. Whether it’s sweeping the floor or handling a big export order, it all happens right here at 46/3. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we are glad to be part of the Kannampalayam community.
