Planning a wedding involves a lot of small details that people don't always notice, like counting the number of chairs or checking the generator fuel. We spend a lot of time on the phone with different vendors and florists around the city. The weather here can be quite unpredictable, so we are always keeping an eye on the clouds during the outdoor events. It’s a lot of pressure, but that’s just the nature of the work. We don't have a team of people in expensive suits; it’s just us and some regular staff who know how to handle the heavy lifting. We keep all our notes in folders and on our phones. It’s not a very glamorous life, even if the weddings look fancy once everything is set up. We are usually the ones cleaning up at the end or standing in the back making sure the food is ready. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the local market well. The traffic can be a pain, but we manage.
